  • We can do this through utilizing the combined 30+ years of experience of the business partners, who are experts in their respective health care modalities and in post-secondary education.

OUR TEAM

CnC Learning Hub is owned by two Registered Massage Therapists who have partnered together under the same mission: to individualize health care education and bring joy back into learning.

They both have a passion for teaching and working with individuals to reach their health care and educational goals.  They have a wealth of knowledge and skill being that they taught at least 25% of the Saskatchewan RMTs between 2009 and 2024.

Chelsea Spence and Cora Peters developed an excellent working relationship during their shared time at the same massage therapy school.  In the middle of 2024 they shared a belief that the landscape for education outside of the traditional post-secondary institutions needed a new, strong and enjoyable option for continuing education.

Since both RMTs have many years of experience both in the health care and educational field, they decided to develop courses that could suit not only those in massage therapy, but those in other health care professions to share in and with our profession.  On top of that, they realized that professionals in more allopathic fields could benefit from reviewing anatomy and physiology that they likely studied during university or college, but may have not considered since.  Now they are in development of these courses, partnering with Books of Discovery and Arthrokinematics to bring these courses locally, then nationally, then internationally.

Cora Peters, RMT has been a practicing massage therapist since 2010.  Since then she has specialized in Myofascial Release and other modalities (see below).  In 2012 she began teaching in the field of massage therapy at the first ever school in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  She covered classes in massage, hydrotherapy, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and assessment.  During this time she developed curriculum, evaluation procedures, and assisted in updating policies.  She is also part of the transitional council in Saskatchewan, developing the bylaws and policies for the regulation of massage therapy in the province.

  • Instructor and Supervisor in post-secondary education in the field of Massage Therapy for 12 years

  • 2200 Hour Massage and Hydrotherapy Diploma (2010)

  • Myofascial Release I, II, and Unwinding Certificates

  • Myofascial Mobilization Certificate

Chelsea Spence, RMT has been a practicing massage therapist since 2008.  During her practice, she has specialized in educating people in pain treatments, rattan massage, cancer specific treatments, and others (see below).  In 2009, she began working at the first school to graduate a 2200 hour program in Saskatchewan.  She started primarily in the administrative offices, quickly becoming the Director of Administration and Admissions.  In the early 2010s she decided to take on more classes and educational development role before leaving in 2024.  She taught every class offered at the institute, along with developing curriculum /evaluations for all courses during her 16 years there.
